St. Paddy's nails

I have completely fallen behind and have a backlog of photos that I will hopefully be able to show you once I figure out how to schedule posts from my phone .

These are my St. Patrick Day themes nails. I am not very skilled at nail art but I loved these!

Unfortunately I only took 1 picture in poor lighting. I can still tell you what I did though. I did a base of Nicole by OPI's "It's all about the Glam" on all nails but my ring fingers. On my pointer finger I drew a cauldron in black. For the gold I used Milani's Jewel FX "Gold", and was very impressed with how it looked. For my ring fingers I did a base of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Going Green". I then did a stripe of black as a belt and used a gold for the buckle.every

My first attempt at clouds

Even though I suck at posting here doesn't mean I suck at keeping up with reading other's blogs.  I think everyone has picked up on this new cloud mani trend. As it is now dieing out I finally got around to doing it. I am such a slacker!

I learned a lot about my abilities and the abilities of my polished. The white I used needs more that one coat to be solid enough for me. I found it works better at the top part of the cloud. I also learned that I need to work on my patience and wait much longer on dry times for this mani since I am stacking colors.

Unfortunately I just got the picture of my thumb before I got distracted, did something around the house and snuffed the Crap out of all my nails. I was almost in tears. Well I guess I live and learn. The colors I used were Wet n Wild "How I Met Your Magenta" , then China Glaze "Champagne Bubbles", and the white I used was Buckle by OPI "It's All About the Glam"

This is also my first time posting from my phone. We will see how it turns out.

Super Bowl Nails!

Here I am back again. I could give you a list of reasons why I haven't posted in a while but the big one is: I am a lazy sod. On to today's nails.

I live in New England, so today I will be going to a friends house for a Super Bowl Party. The colors I have chosen work for both teams, but deep down I will be routing for the Patriots.

It was hard for me to figure out what kind of manicure I could do that didn't scream LOOK AT ME I LOVE AMERICA WOOOO since the Pats colors are red, white, blue and silver.
There are sparkles hiding on my middle finger

My husband saw me struggling and actually suggested this. The blue I used is Sinful Colors "Ciao Bella" which is a nice dark blue with some shimmer in it, I had an issue actually finding a dark blue. I have found that often times blues look much darker when they are in the bottle than on the nail.

The Crackle I used is Sally Hansen "Fractured Foil". I made sure to put it on thick to get some nice big cracks for the blue to show nicely.

I put this manicure on my hands and then ended up doing bath time for the little lady and two of my nails started to peel at the tips. I cleared them off, put down the base of blue, decided to put some sparkle on (because why not!), and then crackled them. The sparkle I put on them is Confetti "Tinsel" You can just barely see the sparkles but it's just enough that it makes me smile when I notice them.

Pink Wednesday!

so shiny..and messy!
Hello Hello! Life has been very hectic and will continue to be hectic so I don't know how much I will be posting. I will be going on vacation, and then immediately after moving to a new apartment.

Even though it is fall I felt an extreme urge to do some super pink nails! I put Sally Hansen HD Hi Res as the base which seemed like a nice warm color. I wasn't just happy with pink I wanted super girly sparkily pink!!

I then put on two coats of Sally Hansen HD Byte! I love this color! This pink has a blue shimmer to it. It is gorgeous, I can't stop staring at my nails!

Now my nails are looking a little messy as I did them during a Raid..and I am still there. Shhhh don't tell anyone, luckily I doubt any of my raiders will read this. I will clean up the edges..at some point.

Also I wanted to share a mani I did a while ago but somehow did not post. I then deleted a bunch of the pictures...meaning all of them but one. I love love love RedBull! For me it tastes like liquid pixie sticks. I felt the need to share my love with the world with this Redbull inspired manicure.
Hi Res and Byte

It gives you wings!!

Yay fall is coming!

Jem and Penny
It's getting cooler around here which means fall! I love fall so much! I enjoy the tempature better than any other season. I decided to celebrate it's coming and try to fight off the blues that 3 days of rain brings you with a fall manicure.

I took part in Zoya's recent awesome promotion of buy one get two free. This is probably the only time I will be able to get Zoya since I tend to stick to polishes more in the $2 range. For this manicure i am using Penny and Jem.

As you can see Penny is a beautiful copper, I feel like a robot when I wear it hehe! I put Jem on my middle finger. I am not as impressed with Jem as I thought I would be. In the bottle it has a big shimmer to it, but it is very dark on my nails.

Polka Dots!!
I have been in love with Polka Dots lately. I dress my little one in them whenever I can the poor darling. So I decided to dress my nails in them today as well.

I did the Polka Dots with a toothpick. I don't have any special dotting tools so I make due. I think the dots came out smaller than I like so next time I will try a bobby pin.
